India's Moon Odyssey

It's a day that the country's space scientists have been working towards, for years. As Chandrayaan-I, India's first unmanned mission to the moon gets ready for launch, perhaps it's time to evaluate whether the wait has been worth it? In short, how would going to the moon actually benefit the country? Also, why does India need to go the moon in the first place, especially when the Americans and the Russians have already done that more than 40 years ago?

A miracle cure for heart attacks?

It has been called a miracle drug -- a four-in-one medicine that can halve cardiovascular risk and keep heart attacks away. Being developed by the Hyderabad based Dr Reddy's Labs, the polypill, which is expected to be launched in India by next year, can make heart medication cheaper and more effective. In case this happens, the polypill will join the ranks of other wonder drugs like Viagra, Penicillin etc. But the big question is: can it happen?
